In what building is the so-called Statue of the Republic?

The so-called Statue of the Republic is in the Hall of the Lost Steps of the National Capitol.
It is one of the largest in the world of those located under roof. Some specialists have said that, given its magnitude, it is the third of its kind in the Universe.
The statue is made of cast bronze and its structure is hollow. It was cast in Rome and moved to Cuba in three pieces. It has a height of 14.20 meters and rests on an onyx marble pedestal of 2.50 meters high. The total height of the statue is 16.70 meters. Reflects a figure of a young woman, standing, dressed in a tunic and wearing a helmet, shield and spear.
Its total weight is 49 tons. The statue weighs 30, the shield 3, the spear one and the base 15. His sculptor was the Italian Aldo Zanelli
The National Capitol by its dimensions, is one of the largest buildings, not only of Havana, but of Cuba in general.
