Ministerial Resolution No. 1151/2022: "Regulations for Assisted Reproduction in Human Beings", as a complementary document to the recently approved Family Code, was published in the Official Gazette No. 67 of the Republic of Cuba issued this October 28, 2022.

Through its Telegram channel, the Ministry of Public Health informed that this regulation approves the requirements to enable and certify the centers, services, gamete and embryo banks required to attend these processes at the different levels of the National Health System.

It establishes the age range and number of attempts for the performance of the different techniques, requirements and regulations for solidary gestation, as well as for the use of gametes and cryopreserved embryos.

The legal text details the prohibitions, infractions and sanctions in assisted reproduction.
