The official part of the Ministry of Public Health reports that at the close of yesterday, August 26, 60 new positive cases of Covid-19 were confirmed, for a total of 1,110,377.

433 remain hospitalized and 432 suspects.

To date, 8,530 deaths have been reported (none of the day) and 71 medical discharges were given (of the day), accumulating 1,101,515 (99.2%) recovered patients. 233 active cases were confirmed, 232 of them with stable clinical course.

In Havana, 1 autochthonous case was identified in the Boyeros municipality.

For COVID-19, 1,770 samples were studied, resulting in 60 positive samples. The country accumulates 14,090,481 samples carried out and 1,110,377 positive.

Of the 60 confirmed, 42 were contacts of confirmed cases, and 16 with a source of infection to specify.
