“Congratulations to the #JuristasEnCongreso and all their Cuban colleagues who celebrate their day today. #Cuba honors the patriotic, revolutionary and anti-imperialist tradition of Law in the Revolution, from CM de Céspedes to #FidelCastro,” Díaz-Canel wrote.

For his part, the Prime Minister, Manuel Marrero, also recalled the 45th Anniversary of the constitution of the National Union of Jurists of Cuba, and conveyed his congratulations to the professionals of the sector, for contributing to providing legal strength to all the work of the Revolution.

"The State, the #GovernmentCuba and our people, count on our jurists to defend, preserve and perfect the work of the Revolution, following the example of jurists of the stature of Céspedes, Agramonte and Commander in Chief #Fidel Castro Ruz", the premier noted in another message on Twitter.

The Attorney General of the Republic, Yamila Peña Ojeda, transmitted her congratulations and recognition to the Cuban jurists on the same social network.

She also stated that the jurists will continue to defend the socialist rule of law of social justice and humanism, and developing the Cuban legal doctrine based on the historical experience, humanist and revolutionary values ​​of the Martí and Fidelista legacy.

On June 8, the Day of the Legal Worker is celebrated in Cuba, in honor of Ignacio Agramonte y Loynaz, who in 1865 concluded with outstanding marks the degree exercise that certifies him as a Bachelor of Civil and Canon Law.
