The official part of the Ministry of Public Health reports that at the close of yesterday, June 6, 13 new positive cases of Covid-19 were confirmed, for a total of one million 105 thousand 490.

979 remain hospitalized; 834 suspects, and 41 under surveillance.

To date, 8 thousand 529 deaths have been reported (none of the day) and 33 medical discharges were given (of the day), accumulating one million 96 thousand 798 (99.2%) recovered patients. 104 active cases were confirmed, of which 103 (99%) with stable clinical evolution.

In Havana, 4 cases were identified, all autochthonous. Cases were reported in four of the 15 capital municipalities, with the following distribution:

For COVID-19, 2,948 samples were studied, resulting in 13 positive samples. The country accumulates 13 million 892 thousand 699 samples carried out and one million 105 thousand 490 positives.

The 13 confirmed cases were contacts of confirmed cases.

Of the feminine sex 5, and of the masculine 8. A patient is reported of serious.

There were no asymptomatic positive cases, accumulating a total of 146,982, which represents 13.3%.

The 13 diagnosed belong to the age groups: under 20 years old, 7; from 20 to 39, 4; from 40 to 59 years old, 0, and from 60 and over, 2 cases.

As of June 6, Cuba reports a fatality rate of 0.77% of Covid-19 per million inhabitants, lower than the 1.18% of the world, and 1.73% of the Americas.
