The official part of the Ministry of Public Health reports that at the close of yesterday, June 3, 4 new positive cases of Covid-19 were confirmed, for a total of one million 105 thousand 443.

One thousand 147 remain hospitalized; 967 suspects, and 29 under surveillance.

To date, 8 thousand 529 deaths have been reported (none of the day) and 37 medical discharges were given (of the day), accumulating one million 96 thousand 704 (99.2%) recovered patients. 151 active cases were confirmed, of which 149 with stable clinical evolution.

In Havana, 4 cases were identified, all autochthonous. Cases were reported in three of the 15 capital municipalities, with the following distribution:

Marianao – 1

San Miguel del Padrón – 2

For COVID-19, 4,398 samples were studied, resulting in 24 positive samples. The country accumulates 13 million 882 thousand 826 samples carried out and one million 105 thousand 443 positives.

Of those confirmed, 22 were contacts of confirmed cases, and 2 with an unspecified source

Of the feminine sex 15, and of the masculine 9. Two patients are reported in serious condition.

8.3% (2) of the 24 positives were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 146,9797, which represents 13.3%.

The 30 diagnosed belong to the age groups: under 20 years old, 8; from 20 to 39, 7; from 40 to 59 years old, 3, and from 60 and over, 6 cases.

As of June 3, Cuba reports a fatality rate of 0.77% of Covid-19 per million inhabitants, lower than the 1.18% of the world, and 1.74% of the Americas.
