Four entities were authorized for perfoming imports operations with natural and legal persons both native and foreign,representation offices,  branches, diplomatic missions, consular offices and international organisms accredited in Cuba, reported Gramma.

As it was stated at the Official Gazette of the Republic of Cuba, through Resolution No 122 of the Ministery of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, this entities will have the clearance for trading in freely convertible currency with native clients.

The four designated entities are: Empresa Comecializadora de Objetivos Industriales, Maquinarias, Equipos y Articulos de Ferretería(Maquimport), Empresa Central de Abastecimiento y Ventas de Equipos de Transporte Pesado y sus Piezas(Transimport), Agencia Importadora Caribe, Sociedad Unipersonal  de Responsabilidad Limitada(SURL) and the Sociedad Unipersonal de Responsabilidad Limitada(Impexport, S.U.R.L).
