Justina Álvarez Pantoja dies.

She was an outstanding revolutionary and journalist who worked in Mil Diez radio station and Hoy newspaper.  In her revolutionary work she joined the Brotherhood of Cuban Youth, an organization guided by the Young Communist League. Sometime later, she began to work in the National Committee of the Popular Socialist Party and served as Secretary of Blas Roca, who was the maximum leader of that organization, a task she carried out until the death of the communist leader in 1987. Her journalistic work was reflected in the chronicles she wrote under the name of "Héroes de la Patria" (Heroes of the Homeland), which appeared in the Hoy newspaper and reflected biographical sketches of the Heroes of Playa Girón. He was a member of the Cuban Communist Party until the end of his life.
