Salvador Bueno was a remarkable journalist, researcher, and writer who supported the literary studies in our country and favored the spreading of the life and work of outstanding Cuban figures. Likewise he was the Director of the Academia Cubana de la Lengua between the years 1995 and 2004.He was born in Havana on August 18th, 1917. He got his degree as Doctor in Philosophy and Arts at the University of Havana when he was 25. He was also a professor at the School of Arts of the University of Havana and at other teaching institutions.
