She was born in Santa Clara on July 29th, 1885 and was the daughter of an actor and scenography painter. She made her debut in the theater at the age of two years and a half and at the age of 4 she performed the first character in which she spoke. She started a tour around Mexico and Central America. She comes back to Cuba and performs a character for which she was presented as “The small actress”. She goes on other tours and when she comes back she has turned into an exceptional actress. Some years later, in 1910 she is offered a opportunity to go to Spain but she refuses, and states in the island to  promote the national theater, and she achieved it with works of novel national authors. Her life was related to theater and radio in the last century. She was one of the firsts to discover the slight differences and resources offered by the microphone. She managed to offer her knowledge to young people and colleagues.
