To date, 2271 deaths by coronavirus (68 belong to the day) have been reported, and 39 521(2086+) confirmed cases of which 39 210 with a stable clinical evolution; a total of 5578 patients were discharged from hospitals for a total of 282 267 (87.1%) medical or epidemiological discharges. There are 131 critical patients and 180 in critical status.

Francisco Durán informed this Monday, the incidence rate per 100 thousands inhabitants increased to 587.3% for an amount of 10 976 cases in the last 15 days. The capital stands ninth position of the provinces epidemiological status chart. For that reason he called the attention on the strict comply of the protection measures and social isolation because of the still high transmission which is spread in all its territories.

 The most affected municipalities in Habana were Marianao(157),Arroyo Naranjo(138), Centro Habana and La Lisa(137 each),Playa(136),Diez de Octubre(127), Boyeros(117),Habana del Este(91),Habana Vieja(86),Plaza de la Revolución(72),San Miguel del Padrón(67), Cerro (50), Guanabacoa(33), Regla(28) and Cotorro, 18.

The death rate for Covid 19 in Cuba, in July 21, 2021 is 0.7 % per million inhabitants which is lower than the 2.15% for the world and the 2.62 % for the Americas region.
