Real Colegio de Belén

It was an important religious school in Havana, under the Jesuits Order. It was opened by the Jesuit fathers in 1852 in Habana Vieja and was moved to the area of Marianao on December 17th, 1925. There, it had a building with better conditions and surrounding areas. Its structure corresponded with the kind of religious school as it was. It had nine pavilions, that resembled a cross from the air and in the higher side it had the impression of having a crown of thorns.
