Epidemiological status of the country has become extremely complex due to the increasing of positive Covid-19 cases, therefore new measures have been adopted, including, mobility restrain of the population, stated in its web site the Ministry of Economy and Planning.

In line with this needs, it is notified that the National Tax Administration Office is temporarily suspending face-to-face attention in its offices.

In addition, the payment of tax obligations through digital channels is maintained and encouraged, for which the tax rebate of 3% on the amount to be paid by individuals is ratified.

The payment obligations for the month of June for individuals, which should be paid in July, are delayed until August 31.. According to Resolution 246 of 2021 of Ministry of Finances and Prices, published in the Official Gazette Extraordinary 55 of June 30, 2021.

The ONAT offices on each municipality, will coordinate with the banking institutions, companies and other legal entities in an orderly manner, guaranteeing with the obligations during the month of July. Legal entities will be encouraged to use electronic channels such as  Metro en Linea, Banca Remota and Virtual Bandec, for the fulfillment of tax obligations or for the payment of taxes.

Minimal personnel will be kept at the offices in order to guarantee the functions of management, collection control and assistance.
