Virtual Electronic Hardware Store was inaugurated for Freelancers

Due to the need to satisfy the demand in the import of electronic equipment and components for the non-state forms of management, the virtual store Tu Solución opened this Monday, in Havana. The virtual store was created by Solintel S.A, which is part of the Informatics and Electronics Entrepreneurial Group (GEIC).

According to Robelis Lambert Matos, president of the Telecommunications Comprehensive Solutions Company, this new electronic hardware store comprises products that are available in Cuba like: office and printing equipment, spendable materials like printing ink and toners, tools for computer repair and mobile phone accessories.

During the opening, the director explained that the payments can be done via platforms like EnZona, Transfermóvil, and through bank transactions or Point of Sale (POS) terminals.

Tu Solución will have national reach, pointed out Lambert Matos, and in the next days, the home delivery option will be added, being charged in Cuban pesos as part of an alliance with TaxisCuba, which will allow electronic trade to be more dynamic.

One of this virtual store’s objectives is to minimize the products’ delivery time for non-state employees, which has been one of the main complaints up to this moment, being the suppliers’ delivery time of approximately 60 days.

Lamber Matos pointed out that a contract with two important suppliers will allow this hardware store to replenish itself quickly, thanks to the sales on consignment model.

To start this initiative, several things were taken into account like the quality and price of the products, the characteristics of the market, the flow of information, or what’s the same, the report of products and purchase orders that arrive to the warehouses.

Others participated in this meeting were: Grisel Reyes León, Vice-minister of Communications; Vivian Herrera, Director-General of Imports and Exports of the Ministry of Foreign Commerce; and Amaurys López García, Vice-President of the GEIC.

Solintel S.A. is one of the Cuban companies authorized to provide foreign commerce activity to non-state forms of management, since this measure’s authorization, which occurred last year.

TCP. Lino.
