Actor Mario Martínez Casado dies in Havana.

When he was only twenty years old, he was invited to the inauguration of the Regina Theater in Havana, where he triumphed in plays such as Niña Rita. In 1930 he acted and sang at the Martí Theater with the company of the Asturian Jesús Ordóñez. In that decade he debuted with La corte Del faraón at the Teatro Principal in the Mexican capital and later toured several states acting in comedies and operettas. He was a theater, radio, film and television actor, singer, and theater director, as well as a performer of particular charisma, discoverer and trainer of young talents.
