Félix B. Caignet dies in Havana.

He was an admirable figure in the radio world, where he did a lasting work. He was also a composer and a non professional painter. He created a style which went beyond the national borders. His work “The right to be born” was quite an event with a large audience in the country. He is recognized as a master of the serials episodes, the climax and the suspense.

“THE RIGHT TO BE BORN”

It is a Cuban novel written by Félix B. Caignet. It is based on some facts occurring in a traditional Cuban family from Havana at the beginning of the 20th Century. The 314 chapters were broadcasted from Mondays to Saturdays by the circuit CMQ since April 1st, 1948. It was an event of great importance in the country.
