Soledad Delgado is born in Havana

She was an exceptional pianist and sang different musical genres. She took her first steps in the world of arts since she was very young, when she starts performing in several theaters in Havana and in some programs of the Cuban television. It is in 1957 when she starts working as a professional pianist with the orchestra of the cabaret at the Hotel Internacional de Varadero and in the cabaret El Copa at the Hotel Habana Riviera. She got a degree in piano studies in conservatories in Havana with a high professional development. She made several albums and preformed in different countries. She died in Spain on October 28, 2007. Her ashes were brought to Havana.
