The famous Cuban painter Amelia Peláez del Casal

Dies in Havana a multi-colored world was created through her works. She left a huge collection of easel paintings, mural paintings and ceramics. She was the author of important works, among them we can mention the mural in the building where the National Audit Office was, which today is the head office of The Department of the Interior, at the Revolution Square, Jose Marti. Her prestige exceeded the national environment since she was an artist who was successful in other parts of the world.

Revolution Square, Jose Marti

It is the biggest square in Cuba. It is located in the municipality of Plaza, in Havana. It is a place of historical value for all the Cuban people, due to the fact that dissimilar ceremonies and events related to the Revolution had taken place there. There is a monument to Jose Marti in the Square.
