It was inaugurated in 1920 in the area between the streets of Refugio, Colón, Zulueta and Avenida de Belgium or Montserrat, in Old Havana. The idea of ​​its construction dates from 1909 when the Provincial Governor of Havana decided to move the province government’s headquarters to a new building. In 1913 the project was launched. Later it was decided that the building would serve as the seat of the Presidency of the Republic. It is a four-story building, made of beautifully carved white stone blocks, crowned by a slender dome, and with a terrace on its main facade. At present, the Museum of the Revolution has been operating there for several decades.

It is a humorous Cuban weekly that is today the oldest satirical newspaper published in Cuba and Latin America. It was founded on October 16, 1961 with the aim of cultivating the best expressions of general humor, costumbrismo and political satire. Its name comes from a slogan that existed at that time: Somos socialistas, pa'lante y pa'lante. The publication has been a faithful exponent of solidarity with the peoples in their struggle for a better world, of the battles for peace, equality, independence and sovereignty of nations, ecology and Latin American unity.

It was initially built in 1926, but the planned capacities did not meet the needs. In 1940 a larger Mausoleum was built, which is still standing today. It was the work of the architects Enrique Luis Varela, Francisco Ramirez and the designer Diego Guevara, with the bronze reliefs of the sculptors Juan José Sicre and Florencio Gelabert. The monument has a marked influence of rationalism, as each space is functional. The ample terraces that are destined to the concentration of public on the days of commemoration stand out.

 It is the branch of Biology which studies the phenomenon of parasitism. It studies the living parasite organisms and the relation with their hosts and the environment.    

It was opened on April 22, 1972 in the outskirts of Havana City, in the current municipality of Arroyo Naranjo. It is the biggest recreation center in Cuba. It has a surface of around 800 hectares, the grass and the woods in their radiant green, adorned with polychrome cultural, sports, recreational and gastronomic facilities.
